Can I run PC-BSD 9 on my laptop - ASUS A42Jc?
Many month ago I tried PC-BSD 8.2 but I couldn't boot into it. I want to know that can I run PC-BSD 9 on my laptop [1].

I have a Toshiba and have the same problem. Hope someone will give a solution.I could really yse the PC-BSD.

Any confirmation?

I tried on my laptop, I still did not boot into the installer. It rebooted automatically after detecting X configuration.

If you force X to use the vesa driver, it should certainly work.

I tried to boot in VESA mode again and I got an error message "Failed to start GUI installer...".
