Originally came here from the FreeNAS blog and decided to read up on what this distro is all about. Love the idea but think it needs some of the media management and download software I have been using for a while on Windows.
I am personally trying to setup a kick ass NAS based on FreeNAS but I am a total Unix newbie. The fact that FreeNAS is implementing this PBI system that is also used by PC-BSD is awesome and will simplify my life. I'm putting in a couple requests for software that I think would be useful to both communities. I did not see them available and was hoping they could be ready in time for the FreeNAS 8.1 release.
I have already looked up the all software and did not find it on pbiDIR.com, but if it is already available could you point me in the right direction.
Here are all the details:
SABnzbd - Has already been ported but there is no PBI available.
