Ted - Rich Text Editor
I don't know if there's any other alternative for light writing jobs. Couldn't find any.

Sorry, couldn't find it. Abiword or Gedit might do the work too, but I haven't got any chance to try them yet. Ted seemed to be the only alternative to (OS X) Bean.

I've submitted a module for Ted. When I get some time I'll tackle Golden.

I've created a module for Goldendict. It'll be going through the testing phase soon.

Both Ted (version 2.21_2) and GoldenDict (version 1.0.1) have just been released.
They should be available from the mirrors within 24 hours.
