I'm using ubuntu for this install. The PCBSD8.2.img is in my home folder, where the terminal is pointed at, at the moment.
I'm have a 4gb usb drive, mounted at /dev/sdb1
I'm using this command in the terminal: dd <PCBSD8.2-x86-USB-bootonly.img> of=/dev/sdb1 bs=1M
and getting this output: bash: of=/dev/sdb1: No such file or directory
And I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong........ Can someone please help me.
Also PS. Someone needs to develope a tool to transfer pcbsd.iso or .img to usb for installion. I'm not the only one who thinks using usb is better than disc. Also I'm installing on a dvd/cd-less netbook.
I do not know who is more rude, one that tells the truth or one who says rude to another ...
Prefer not to confront your problem and choose a solution as Ubunter! ...
I do not even want to imagine how you will be in day to day!
