versions?
zenny,
What version of PCBSD are you running (uname -a)??
What version of Firefox are you running??
Do you have this issue for EVERY Web page you visit or only for a particular web page?
- - -
I also get errors for "NSPlugin Viewer" when I try to "attach" files on Yahoo!'s Mail Plus webpage. It happens at different times about 70%. Fortunately Yahoo! provides a fallback method of attaching files.

Hej Zenny
I can't solve your problem, but I am writing to tell you that I am also getting the same errors for not just Firefox, but also the lastest Opera too.

Code:
|
[~@11:58] % firefox
Failed to initialize GEM. Falling back to classic.
failed to create drawable

Does anyone know why this error is occuring?
cheers

I should mention that the two programs are not crashing, and are running.

Firefox crash
The "GEM" error is something to do with the intel driver, since GEM
support isn't in FreeBSD yet. Its a cosmetic error only, same with the
GTK warnings.

That's good to know, Kmoore. It's what i suspected, but its a relief to have it confirmed.
By the way, I think you've done a fantastic piece of work by bringing FreeBSD to regular users. I really find PC-BSD a joy to run and use.
Cheers!
