Default Dell Vostro 1400
Hi,

I installed the 8.2-RC2 and so far I have some issues:

1. the system does not 'recognize' the bluetooth module...
its not visible on the dmesg. I have a BT mouse and its auto-connected
, as its paired using the windows 7...

2. keyboard 'mute' key is not recognised too, volume up/down and media
keys are working well.

thank you in advance for any help

Chris

Suspend to RAM is *not working*.. strangely I see my laptop

This is a known FreeBSD issue, lots of time the resume doesn't come back
properly, and the screen stays off. If you want to discuss with ACPI
devs and see if there is a fix, then maybe try posting the details of
this over at the acpi list:

Try to wait for development the ACPI in FreeBSD. The project need development.

The suspend/resume work fine in OpenBSD with apmd and zzz (if you are interesting)

I will try to follow the debugging procedure on that page. The strage thing is that the hw.acpi.supported_sleep_state says that s3 etc are working.. I just found on that list that some ThinkPads have exactly the same problem as me (suspend works, black screen on resume)

thanx

Chris
