Default Security Update for OpenSSL 12/2/2010 Failed
I'm having problems with this particular system update. The update failed during "Checking data integrity..." with this message:

Quote:
An error occurred while downloading. Please check your connection or try again later.
There's nothing wrong with my internet connection.

The update will fail at this spot again in subsequent update attempts. It seems like during the subsequent tries, it does not re-download the update package, as the progress indicator will immediately display "Checking data integrity..." again.

I'm using the AMD64 version of PC-BSD 8.1.

Thanks,
-Bill

I am having the same problem, been trying to install over the last couple of days.
It stops al 24% with the same message as Bill is getting.
I am using the PC-BSD 8.1 AMD64bit as well.

Default Security Update for OpenSSL 12/2/2010 Failed
I've installed it on a number of systems here with no issue... Can you check what mirror you are
using, and possibly try another to see if that fixes it? Maybe the mirror you are using hasn't syncing the entire file.

Hi
I had mirror configuration set to "automatic mirror selection".
I have just chosen one at random from the "select mirror from list" and it worked fine.
Thanks

I also had "automatic mirror selection" configured.

After selecting "isc.org", since I'm located in California, the update worked fine.

Thanks!
