I forgot to sticky this one. Adoption of FreeBSD for gaming and other fun things is no doubt required to spur software development with this platform in mind. I'll leave this sticky for a few months.

I sent a PM in response to this post back when it first appeared and got no response. If you're still looking for reviewers, drop me a line.

I'm not sure WINE supports 64bit ?

Wine should not work on a 64 bit build unless you manage to install it in a portjail. Someone managed to do this and documented it on the FreeBSD forums. I think that I would rather install Windows in a VirtualBox. It is less trouble.

The standard wine 32 bit has been working just fine for me on 64 bit PCBSD minus the fact it won't auto update. You just have to download it manually by going to www.pbidir.com.

Before buying this product I would definitley recommend creating an account and taking a look over it's issue tracker http://www.bordeauxgroup.com/project/issues

I tried out the Wine PBI on an amd64 system and it does work without problems. I am trying it now in running Folding@home SMP2 vs running Folding@home in a Linux 64 bit VirtualBox.

Default Bordeux Review
Hello Everyone,

Sorry for the late reply, ive been busy and ive also had some personal issues and ive not checked this thread. I thought the forum would send me a mail when I got a reply but as it looks I was mistaken.

Ive sent everyone who sent me a PM a reply and the original offer is still open. So if you have a site or blog and your willing to write a review and link back to bordeauxgroup.com ill send you a link to download a free copy.

Cheers,
Tom
