Can not open Microsoft Office files(.doc, .xls, ...) (PC-BSD

Can not open Microsoft Office files(.doc, .xls, ...), which stored on NTFS partitions, with openoffice: "General input/output error while accessing /media/[Volume (ntfs)]/abc.doc. Copping it to PC-BSD partition, I could open it. (My OS: PC-BSD 8.0)
Problem is not on PB-BSD 7.1

I've seen people having this kinda problem with OpenOffice on various different operating systems including old versions of FreeBSD and Windows. Try removing and then reinstalling OpenOffice. You can find the latest 32-bit and 64-bit PBI versions of OpenOffice here.
