Unable to mount audio CD

I am running PC-BSD on an HP-Pavillion. When I insert an audio CD, it fails to mount. When I insert a data CD, it mounts correctly. This problem occurred after I mounted an audio CD and tried to run (in order) Dragon, Amarok and KMPlayer. Prior to running KMPlayer, the audio CD had mounted and I was able to read the disk. Additionally, I tried mounting the CD by hand using mount /dev/cdrom /mnt and got the message device not configured.

Additional information: my system mounts the CD intermittently. I'd like to report this as a bug, but I don't have authorization to create a problem report.
