Does it give you an error message or does it just hang up and ask you for your password again?

The problem could be with your ISP and not KPPP.

So you have not been able to connect to the Internet at all using KPPP in PC-BSD? Question. What is the model of your modem and which ISP are you trying to connect to?

Try this through the terminal:

"sudo nano /etc/ppp/peers/kppp-options" and change "#noauth" to "noauth"

Thanks But /etc/ppp/peers/kppp-options is not there in my PC Upto /etc/ppp/ is there
/peers/kppp-options is missing. I think KPPP maybe not be fully loaded by PCBSD installer. Incase that is the case please let me know. i am using a Huawei Ec 325 USB modem which works fine with ubuntu and KDE linux distro called the bosslinux . Is there any other method to connect using the huawei EC 325 modem

Thanking you in anticipation
