Hardware discussion forum
I was wondering if it would be interesting to have a PC-BSD hardware discussion forum so that we discuss which hardware works, which one doesn't, and accordingly populate the knowledge database. I recently bought an Asus K8S-MX mobo that doesn't work with PC-BSD, I had to change it for a K8V-X. Buying hardware that works seemlessly on PC-BSD is a mine field, maybe this would help all of us. What do you think?

You can always check your hardware compatibility from freebsd.org site.

That's what I've been doing over the last 2 years with FreeBSD, but it's a list of chipsets, and it'd be more convenient to list hardware. Not all compatible hardware is listed on this page (by far). Also, newbies might have no clue what to do with the list of compatible chipsets :?

We would discuss it on a Hardware section of the forum, and accordingly be adding the hardware on the compatible/incompatible sections of the current Knowledge Database.
