Default HUAWEI E220 MODEM IN PC--BSD
Hello everyone,i am new in linux and pcbsd.I am however very frustrated that i am unable to connect to the internet using my huawei e220 3g modem.Can you please assist me on how i can go about configuring the modem for use like in windows?

What's the output of dmesg?

Update : The new u3g driver in 7.2 supports the E220 apparently -

So you guys actually mean that if i get pc-bsd 7.2,which i am currently downloading,then i should click all the way to get the E220 working,like am told it happens in ubuntu,or mandriva where one needs just the APN?is there anyone with experience on PC-BSD and the huawei e220 modem?

1.
pppd and /etc/ppp/ppp.conf
2. u3g

i have huawei e220 modem, i used sometime gnome network-manager in ubuntu, but i think that working with pppd
