Problems with VMWare (possibly Vesa driver)?

Hi, I'm testing PCBSD inside a VMWare 5 (Mandriva Host). It works fine, but when I do the Online Update, from 0.8.1 to 0.8.2, suddenly the vesa driver stops working. Unfortunatelly I cannot test on another PC, but it seems a problem with vesa driver and not VMware. Did anybody else have this problem?

The error message follows (during boot process):

After the message, the system reboots in a loop, over and over again. Any ideas? My concerns are related to some kind of problems with vesa driver after update.

I just tried a fresh install of PCBSD-0.8.2-x86-LANG1.iso - the install went fine but I get the same problem on reboot. I'm running VMWare 5 on win XP and this is the first time I've had any trouble with any cersion of PC-BSD in either VMWare 4 or 5.

A bit higher up than the original posted error it also says
root@PCBSD. localhost:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/GENERIC
module_register: module vesa already exists!
Module vesa failed to register: 17
