PcBSD LiveCD

I know there used to be a livecd of pcbsd, I'm wondering if this is still available somewhere cause I checked the download section and I can't seem find anything like it anywhere.

not sure if any mirrors still have the 1.4aplha live cd, ftp.pcbsd.org only seems to carry 7.0 and 7.0.1 isos.

PCBSD Developer Antik created the 1.4 live version. It seems to be available still at:

Antik provided these instructions:

log in as root (no password)

run: "./pimpmyvga.sh 1280x1024 24" or whatever your monitor resolution is

log out and relogin as user "livecd", then run "startx"

Long-time user Protagonist has very simple instructions on how to install PCBSD 7.0.1 on a USB Stick at this location:

This is a versatile "live" version and is so much more useful than a CD.
