Hi guys,

It's been a long time since I have posted my last boring question, but now it's necessary.

I've two questions about Virtual machines and software upgrade. Let's start! Yesterday I've successfully upgraded my kopete IM from 0.12.7 to 0.12.8. The problem I've noticed is that: if I open kopete and go to Help -> About Kopete I see the following Kopete 0.12.7 (Using KDE 3.5.10) but if I open a terminal and type

Code:
%pkg_info | grep kopete
kdenetwork-kopete-0.12.8 KDE multi-protocol instant messenger (IM)
Isn't that strange? If I run kopete somenthing is changed from the previous version but I don't know why it seems unrecognized!

The second question is about Qemu. What packages I need to install form ports to get Qemu correctly working? How can I install programs like Maple in a windows XP virtual machine?

I'm asking this questions to you because I've searched through FAQ on the official Qemu site but none solved my problems. Bye!
