Default PC-BSD on the Asus EEE
I have been watching the development roadmap http://trac.pcbsd.org/query?status=a...&milestone=7.0 for some time now. I had noticed that there is an EEE version planned for PCBSD.

I was wondering if anyone had tried this with the new beta yet?
I am traveling right now and cannot download the iso for testing myself. But,
I would like to buy this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16834220370 and have it waiting for me when I get home.

It does have an 80gb hdd and a 1.6ghz, which is more pcbsd friendly than previous versions.

I understand that there were driver issues with BSD and the EEE in the past, does anyone have any info about these?

uutorok,
That Lenovo looks nice but it seems to have the same specs as the Asus I posted. The Asus does come with a 6 cell battery though.
Also, much like the MSI Wind this Lenovo is not shipping yet.
