Thank you for your response, I have not had the time to see how lm-sensors would work in the linux emulation. Right now I'm considering it, but I have no idea if it is even feasible, like you said if it depends on the linux kernel.
There is a version for the 2.4 kernel but also for the 2.6 kernel. For the 2.4 version you need libraries but they are included in the 2.6 kernel it says. Does this mean that the 2.6 version is a no go, even if I upgrade the linux emulation to fc6 or f7 or f8?
By the way what is the deal with fc-4 being the standard for PC-bsd/freebsd when you select linux compatibility? Does the f-8 port not work properly for i386?
