claws-mail-extra-plugins

AM requesting a PBI for claws-mail-extra-plugins. These are plugins that work with Claws Mail. The default installation only came with one plugin and there are several others that are part of the claws-mail-extra-plugins package. This was not found in the AppCafe.

Using PC BSD 9.0, Claws Mail version is 3.8.0.

Please note that I found the plugins I am looking for at FreshPorts and installed the packages via add_pkg -r <name> but none of the added plugins are in the Claws Mail plugin directory.

Which FreeBSD port(s) are you referring to? I am unable to find a port entitled "claws-mail-extra-plugins" (or similar), so you will need to specify which port(s) you are looking for.

We are already including a number of additional plugins within the current Claws-Mail PBI[1], so you might want to make sure that it is not already being included. If so, the plugin(s) might not be getting integrated properly within the PBI.

A web search seems to indicate that this is an Ubuntu classification. Why there was an assumption of immediate or perfect interoperability I dunno. Things from outside of the FreeBSD world need to be ported, even if they might compile on a FreeBSD system directly from the Linux archive. PBIs (available from AppCafe standard mirrors) are made from FreeBSD ports, thus far without any exception that I am aware of.
