Default gigolo
Gigolo is a frontend to easily manage connections to local and remote filesystems using GIO/GVfs. It allows you to quickly connect/mount a remote filesystem and manage bookmarks of such.

Later when is in FreeBSD Ports tree make Gigolo PBI.

From your makefile

Code:
./waf configure
./waf build
./waf install

All one needs to do is download the tarball and follow these same instructions in the readme file.

Don't see where making a port or PBI is really necessary.

EDIT

After further consideration if a PBI with post install script for adding the necessary startup apps to .xintrc so that Gigolo could work with window managers other than Gnome, that would be worth doing.
