Default Rounded Corners
I very much like the idea of a *BSD OS with a GUI. I had tried setting up a GUI in before from a base FreeBSD system but had many problems.

Not to be a purist...but I'm very much NOT a fan of the "rounded corners".
Is this a QtCurve thing? Is there something imported from KDE?

Google is not my friend in this instance.
And how can I turn this off????

Sounds like you want to customize or switch the theme using LXAppearance or Openbox (locations are at http://wiki.pcbsd.org/index.php/LXDE. This page has some customization tips: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1905408.

Thanks for the suggestion. It was difficult to know where to start with this one.
I'll dig into this a little. If I get some success I'll post back.

Thanks much for the direction!
