Default PCBSD server installer suggestion
Do you plan on having some basic configuration package installed in the future like:
  • file server
  • web server
  • email server
  • ...

Like the debian installer?

Thanks!

Default PCBSD server installer suggestion
Yep! In the install, if you click "Customize" on the server install
page, you can select from different packages to load at install time,
including samba, mysql, apache & others.

What I didn't find is a way to customized the keyboard at install time!

The keyboard selection should have been the second screen. It lets you choose the keyboard model, layout and variant.

Sorry cobalt, I was talking of the server installer in PCBSD9-STABLE-20120621. I didn't find a keyboard setup screen in it and language selection didn't work.

It's no longer it's own screen but an icon at the bottom of each installer screen:

It's the one with the flag. This way, you can switch between layouts during any part of the installation if you wish.
