Hi

How do I get Skype to recognise my USB microphone? I've tried everything that I can, but still no luck.

In Skype -> Options -> Sound Device, make sure it is set to OSS.

If that does not fix it (it should), do you have sound in other apps?

Thanks for the suggestion. I tried setting audio to OSS in Skype, but still no sound in Skype, just the woman's voice when I make a test call.

The USB microphone barely works in the Sound Recorder app and most of the noise is a "hiss" sound.
