What apps do people need urgently?

i think...
1) upgrade the speed of the menus and frequent used apps. put some PRELOADER like software inside by default
2) The app cafe is AWESOME and the aps browser like humiliates ubuntu. The second thing people most care about is DESKTOP. bootloaders Grub-like easy manipulation with gui. SABAYON linux is used cause of the desktop easyness... even the grub is beautifull, the system loading, the colored console by default... And a EASY FIREWALL GUI STARTING WITH THE SYSTEM BY DEFAULT.
3) skype and msn are the "i dont go to linux cause of that" thing
4) This portjail... sandboxie like thing is AWESOME! But hard to use for noobs like me.
If we can have funcionality like "windows sandboxie" (4 in 5 friends dont leave windows cause of sandboxie, believe me, and you have it ready, just need to improve the gui and the funcionality)

resuming... The outcome of popular linux like big linux or zorin is the "change desktop and let it looks like anything (windows mac linux etc)" .
Improve DESKTOP, improve SECURITY (improve firewall to at least 20% of WINDOWS COMODO FUNCIONALITY and sandboxie GUI or a "right click to run this program inside a sandbox and no changes will be made into the system"), and, above all... PARTITION MANAGERS!!!
A GPARTED LIKE software to use in install and after install. Resizing and dealing with all kinds of partitions.
