What about an Alienware, XPS, Precision, Elitebook, or Probook?

I have Dell laptop and it's awful with BSD. If you read my previous topics you will understand.

I would like to hear about people's experience running PC-BSD on laptops from vendors that are committed to hardware freedom, such as zareason and system76.

I think it's important to support vendors that don't or won't cave to the Microsoft industry pressures to lock in the user.

@srf21c - one of the folks on IRC is using System76 hardware. They've had good things to say about it.
