Broadcom Lockups
If this was discussed earlier i apologize.
I have found that with more than one model of broadcomm PCIe card i experience a complete freeze of the system when i use the stock GUI to connect to an AP. I can normally scan ok, but when connection is made it locks solid, requiring a power cycle, and subsequent complete corruption of the install.
This has been on more than one laptop as well, and i did not have the issue with stock FreeBSD. Windows, and Linux dont have a problem either.
Can dig them out and produce more details on card models, but wanted to see if anyone else has seen this sort of thing.
