I just created a module for this program. It will appear in the AppCafe once the PBI builds and is approved.

The PBI's for Scrot are currently available in the AppCafe.

I first downloaded scrot by pbi_add -R scrot then installed it. But there are no menu entries (using LXDE) when I type scrot in the Terminal it says command not found.

Isn't it $ pbi_add -r scrot ? Try that, or install it through Appcafe, and invoke it from the terminal again (it probably won't appear in the LXDE menu, because it's a cli-only app).

purgatori is right.
"pbi_add -R <pbi-name>" will download, but not install, the PBI file.
"pbi_add -r <pbi-name>" will both download and install the PBI (removing the *.pbi file after it is done).
For additional information about the pbi_add command, just type "man pbi_add".

After downloading the pbi with pbi_add -R, I double clicked on the file to install it but for some weird reason scrot wont start. Appcafe was showing scrot as installed.

Now that I have installed scrot directly from appcafe it works.
