Thumbs down NVIDIA - Caught signal 11
Lately my monitor goes blank after about 10 minutes and I
can log in via ssh, but can't through the box itself.

Any suggestions as to how to trouble shoot this?

TIA and here's the X log file:

Can you get to a terminal with ctrl+alt+F2? If this is happening after ten minutes, I'd say that power management is the culprit.

Nope, ctrl-alt-f2 does nothing and if I reboot I can work for another 10 or so minutes.

Thanks, Cobalt, but no one would have figured this one out. The strangeness was a precursor to the mother board failing.
