Default add old jail to warden
Hi,

I was looking for advice for adding a pre-existing jail to Warden.

EDIT: Took the plunge and just did an import. Data still there in the /portjail. Import via ncurses warden using jls info went well

jls in Terminal yields
foob@pcbsd6151 /usr/home/foob]$ jls
JID IP Address Hostname Path
1 192.168.1.59 pcbsd-6151 /usr/jails/portjail

It was possible to proceed via warden menu to add the IP of 192.168.1.59 and hostname of pcbsd-6151, tick neither system source nor ports tree (as I already have a valid ports tree) but tick "on" Start jail at system bootup

viewed http://wiki.pcbsd.org/index.php/Warden® ##first time I've seen a registered symbol in a url
and viewed previous on warden in 9.0 handbook viewed handbook of Freebsd 9.0 and forums.
The article in the BSD May 2012 magazine on warden was helpful also

Impressive that Calibre went to 8.50 without a glitch via portsjail console. Now just to finish off the steps to get X to work from jail.
Mark

It will be possible in 9.1, but in the PBI for 9.0 its a bit trickier.
The easiest way is to probably just create a new jail in the warden,
then copy your jail over the top of the new empty one.
