pcbsd vmware opening failure

Hello folks!
I was eager to get PCBSD on to my virtual machine (vmware)
I downloaded the VMware disk image of PC-BSD 9 for 32 bit and unpacked it with winrar.
Then I wanted to open it, because it says PCBSD...VMWARE, with vmware and encountered the following error:

Never had problems before with other UNIX office systems in VMware.
But it might be that smth is missing to the installation?
I'm running this on an Acer notebook with Windows 7.

I found out that there need to be different files types.
The file I unzipped just included a VMDK file.
Anybody knows how to set up the others/why there is just one after unzpackaging?

I just downloaded the PC-BSD DVD and installed it with VmWare Player. It runs great.

Alright so I might just try the regular version
Which operating System did you choose as the installed OS? BSD?
Because I know that misconfigurations can lead into system instability.
