Default Wine File Manager Crashes
After installing Wine 1.3.37, everytime I started the "File Manager" the application/system crashed and I had to login again.
Xshortcut problem solved (set correct paths)X
But I cannot start a win applicaton with wine because it crashes again and I have to log on. But after logging on, the system is very laggy and unusuable, so I have to reboot.

I use PC-BSD 9 32 Bit, KDE.

With older versions of wine I did not have that problems with crash. There is a stable version of wine (its 1.2.3) but there is no pbi for that. Maybe someone could make one please?

Could you open a terminal and either run "winefile" or "/usr/pbi/wine-i386/.sbin/winefile" and list any errors here?
I am running wine64 (1.3.37) here and it all runs just fine - no special errors or crashes.

I'm having the same problem. Neither 32bit or 64bit Wine works under PCBSD without it crashing and having to login again. This happens when trying to open the File Manager or Windows programs

sorry, i'm running this on an Asus P50IJ laptop. I tried it with both 64bit and 32bit PCBSD versions under the LXDE desktop, and the same problem persists.

specifications are here:

using Wine 1.4 the filemanager still crashes! I cannot give a error report via terminal because the sessions immediately resets and i get back to logon-screen!
