Default Starting Firefox from Fluxbox
When I try to start Firefox from Fluxbox, as opposed to KDE, I get this error message:

(firefox-bin:10861): Gtk-WARNING **: Locale not supported by C library.
Using the fallback 'C' locale.
Segmentation fault

Can someone give me a heads up on this?

Thanks,

Rem

Nope...it's installed. I did, however, discover that I could bring up firefox as root. That doesn't seem right though, does it.

At least in the past the gtk-qt-engine port has caused native GTK+ apps like firefox to segfault; you might want to try uninstalling it (it can always be reinstalled if wanted)

Hmm, what is your locale settings when firefox is run as your user?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Locale would probably explain better then I could (without more length).

It's basically what tells your software about your language/country specific settings so it can display things properly.
