Default ma 111 help!
When I say newb I mean I installed PC-BSD 1.4.1 last night. I had to switch drives back to the winxp drive to write this though.

My only connection to the internet is currently a Netgear ma111 802.11b rev.a1 USB wireless thing.
There is a program in K that lets you see your devices (for info purposes only that shows some basic info on this on the correct usb port) but other than that the system doesn't acknowledge it at all. I need to get the wireless up and I can upgrade permanently to BSD.

Thanks for any help
determined-newb.

You can look in the K-Menu for some thing called KInfo Center (not sure where it is, I rarely use the K-Menu).

If you run the 'dmesg' program in konsole it will also print out a fair bit of information but I think KInfo Center would be easier for you to read.

You mgiht also want to check the guides or networking forum for a how to on NDISGEN.
