Configuring KMenu
I would like to know how to configure the KMenu to add an applet to it, like a search bar or a command bar. I was fooling around with the settings, and could not seem to do it. How should I go about doing it?

Or just right-click with mouse on menu and select "Edit Menu".

Click on the button "New Item".
For "Name", enter whatever you like.
For "Command", enter kfind %f
Click on button "Save".

My question was how to put a search bar in there. That only makes an option to click and go to search. I want something like SuSE has where there is a search bar actually on KMenu. Vista has this also.

Simple, then you have to replace the kfind %f from the steps I mentioned to you, by the command for the search bar that you want.

No, that gives you an item, not a search bar, but an item that points to a search bar.

What's the command line for that search bar that you want? Does that search bar have a name?
