Opera 12.11/12.12 paste problems

Hi,

I noticed that Opera 12.11 (PBI installed via AppCafe) did not paste anything (in the adress bar, in the search box, ...). Copying from Opera works sometimes.

I found a thread in the Opera-forums, suggesting altering two lines in the operaprefs.ini-File. These lines do not exist in my file, simply adding them did not resolve the issue.

I then installed Opera 12.12 (download from opera.com), but had the same issues there.

I then tried to start opera as root - and "paste" suddenly worked as intended!

Can anyone acknowledge this behaviour, and does anybody know how to resolve this issue?

PC-BSD 9.1 RELEASE 32Bit, xfce as standard desktop environment

Confirm same problem with Opera 12.14 on Amd/64 9.1-Release. Issue does not occur when launching Opera as root from terminal.

It's worth noting that copying text from Opera and pasting into another application such as leafpad works. It's only the pasting of text *into* Opera that appears to be the issue.

I has been fixed here: Opera 12.14, PC-BSD amd64, 9.1-RELEASE, regular user (no need to be root).

Confirm issue is fixed on same versions as Sergio has reported, however seemingly only on a fresh install.
