I'm an Ubuntu user, but for a hars reason I have to leave linux land!
Reson: My graphics card is manufactured by AMD. Here's my card details:
|
Code:
|
VGA compatible controller: Advanced Micro Devices [AMD] nee ATI RV710 [Radeon HD 4350] |
The card series ATI Radeon HD 2xxx, 3xxx and 4xxx are no longer supported by new version of Catalyst!. Latest version of Catalyst that can provide to support the 4 series cards properly is
Catalyst 12.6, but it does NOT support Xorg 1.13! Ubuntu 12.10 and most new distros (as in Fedora 18) come with Xorg 1.13.
So I have two options:
1. Roll-backing to Ubuntu 12.04 where Xorg 1.12 is used
2. Migrating to another operating system that can support my card. However, the new operating system must not be Windows!
I'm here for a clear question:
Is my graphic card supported by the newest PC-BSD?
Kind Regards
Kian.
