Default I made a PBI - "Mozilla Integrator"
I made this PBI to solve a problem that every virtually every new BSD user runs into and curses at - the fact that Firefox and Thunderbird don't use eachother. This PBI links the two programs so that "mailto" links clciked on from within firefox open up using thunderbird and links in thunderbird emails open up using firefox.

This should actually be a part of both the firefox and mozilla packages, but I used this as a way to learn a little about shell scripting.

When installed, it will link firefox and thunderbird for the user that installs it, provided the user has allready opened the two programs up at least once (a profile must exist for each program). If one of the profiles is missing it will notify the user and instruct them on how to fix it after the installation. I, for the life of my could not figure out how to get the pbiinstall script to launch firefox under the users credentials. If anyone knows how to do this, please let me know.

After the PBI is installed the user can set up the link between firefox and thunderbird simply by running the command 'link-mozilla'. users can also unlink the programs by running 'unlink-mozilla'.

There is no program entry for this, as such a infrequently used item would only be an eyesore - plus, as I said, something like this really should be integrated into the firefox and thunderbird pakages.

Here is a link to the package at my website:
