CANNOT INSTALL PCBSD-RC1
Error while installing pcbsd-rc1
While installing RC1 ,it is not reading the combo drive and the machine hangs
at the "splash screen" stage.
When "Esc" is pressed the screen changes to console screen mode with scrolling messages.
The error messages include
READ_BY UDMA ICRC ERROR
INQUIRY UDMA ICRC ERROR
RG=0XC17DB70B TEST_UNIT_READY SEMAPHORE TIME OUT
in addition to the error while trying to access the installation media.
I have installed the earlier version and is working fine.
More or less the same error messages were seen while trying to install DESKTOPBSD.
There is no problem while installing LINUX even now.
My Pc is CPU-PENITUM II 266 SDRAM 320 MB
