Default Repair Vista boot problem without Vista Recovery disc?
After searching the forum, it seems that this ha been a common problem.

Is there a way to fix the Vista boot problem that doesn't require Vista recovery discs?

I've been using Linux for years and made the assumption that PCBSD would install as easily as Ubuntu using a boot loader like GRUB.

Wrong assumption

I can't boot into Vista... and I didn't burn the Vista discs before that partition was killed earlier on.

Any ideas?

TIA

John

Default
Boot the live-dvd version of pc-bsd and rerun the installation or an Ubuntu live-cd and install the (linux) grub2 loader or any alternative bootloader like gag (http://gag.sourceforge.net/).
