Hello this is my first post as im very new to BSD ive just installed PC-BSD
and im trying to fine tune it to my pc/own needs and as i said im new to bsd so i would like to be able to capture video
as well as watch tv on my pc but im not sure about so can i get some help
my video card is a Ati in wonder radeon 7500
my tuner type says Philips Fl1236 MK2NTSC M/N North America

Once again, ATI doesn't properly support FreeBSD (so you are out of luck with 3d, video capture and anything advanced)
This might change in the near future since the acquisition of ATI by AMD, who has a positive stance with Open Source.

If you want to use computer for such things you are better of avoiding *BSD all together.
It is possible but supported hardware is rather limited. Also you have to be able to write and hack you own drivers. In particular ATI documentation has been open for about
2-3 weeks only and we are taking about hundreds of pages. Good luck reading it and writing your own drivers.
