Hey, just tried downloading OO.O and everything was fine, then I tried opening it and using it, and it wouldnt open, anyone else having the same problems?

Did you downloaded it from openoffice.org site? ftp://ooopackages.good-day.net/pub/Open ... /FreeBSD5/ (ftp://ooopackages.good-day.net/pub/OpenOffice.org/FreeBSD/2.0Beta2/FreeBSD5/) You have to install openoffice with following command:


pkg_add OOo_2.0.beta2_FreeBSD54Intel_install_en-GB.tbz
then run: openoffice.org

Did you install the stated prerequisite JavaWizard (to install Java)?

Do I have to have java first to install openoffice?
It was said that all software comes in one package, just install and boom.

I haven't had problems with the PBI install.
