Well I've got an nVidia Geforce 4 MX 4000. Everything is okay but beryl doesn't work with the vesa(default). Actually I've got a pretty old CRT monitor which by nature isn't too bright. The controls present in my monitor doesnt do any good with brightness. But in windows I could adjust the Gamma Brightness and Contrasts from my nVidia driver app. I've found that PcBSD also has these options but unfortunately they doesn't work with vesa.
Trying with nVidia 7xxx I've only managed to get a maximum of 640x480 resolution which is hard to work with and often end up freezing the pc.
I was wondering if anyone could tell me if there is any driver good enough to work with my Graphics card. I don't want beryl it would be enough for me if there is any way to make those gamma brightness and contrast setting work. :)
Thanx
