After the installation the system is VERY sluggish.

Your computer seems to be old! :lol:
You can speed up older systems with
make a custom kernel
disable graphical effects

My system is 2 years old with 2GB Ram. Version 1.3.01 is spinning like hell....

Running 'top' from the CLI might reveal what's eating up your CPU time, if that is indeed the issue.

Terms like 'sluggish' are ambiguous and subjective. It's best to provide as much *relevant* detail as possible in a bug report if you want it fixed.

1.4 is to slow. It takes seconds when I click on a button to anything happends. It is irritating that 1.3 dont support by wireless card.

OK, but did you try running 'top' from the command line? Or, if you prefer GUI, taking a look at KSysGuard?

I have the opposite experience here. fastst PC-BSD ever. Check what's eating your system resources.
