Hello again,
I have run into two issues since installing PC BSD RC.
1. When playing a video file (Any format except Flash) I get the audio track, but no video. Has anyone else run into this. I did not run into this with 1.3.
Do I need to install specific codecs?
2. The second problem only happens on my desktop. The laptop is fine. Since I install 1.4 on my Desktop it freezes and reboots at random and does this frequently.
Here are the hardware specs on my Desktop if this will help at all.
AMD X2 3800+
1 GB OCZ RAM.
2 100 GB HDDs (one is IDE and 1 is SATA. I have XP on one for gaming and PCBSD on the other drive.)
Mobo: DFI LAN Party SLI board with an Nforce4 chipset.
EVGA 7600 GS. (using latest Nvidia driver included on the PCBSD disk).
Atheros 54G WiFi adaptor.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks to the help of many on this forum I have managed to solve any other glitches I came across myself.
As a side note. This is not a bug, but I noticed that if you install K3B from the second disk you end up with two installations of the programme.
Thanks in advance
