Hi,

I have PCBSD installed on my Aspire 3613WLMI. I love it. It runs better then any other OS I have tried on it.

Anyway, I would like to ditch the 50' foot ethernet cable and get Wi-Fi working. I have the built in Broadcom or a ZyDas 1211 USB adapter to choose from. How can I get either of these working? I seem to have better luck with the ZyDas since the KDE hardware Overview seems to at least least detect the ZyDas device, but it does not seem to know what to do with it since The network utility does not seem to detect it.

I have tried using ndisgen to convert the windows driver but I keep getting ASCII syntax errors. The install CD has a Linux driver for the ZyDas. Would that work?

Any suggestions would be very much appreciated.
