Anybody whos been looking at the PBI's i've made that use GTK / Pango have probably seen the ugly hack, where I have to extract some files in the "extralibs.tar" file onto the system. Well, good news is that I solved that problem today :)

Take a look at http://www.pbidir.com and download FireFox 1.0.6. I modifed the firefox shell script, and setup some GDK / PANGO variables, as well as making a "pangorc" file, which points to the correct location of modules. A completely self-contained firefox for PC-BSD now, how about that? :)

"And at that time there was a great light that shone from the heavens. And it was so greatly bright, that the darkness and evils of the corrupted Gnomes were burnt away forever, and the builders of the PBI gave great thanks for their deliverence out of torment."
