upgrading pcbsd

is there any documentation on upgrading installed pcbsd ..... and how well does this work with the normal upgrade through sysinstall

This link below worked to upgrade PCBSD 0.7.8 to 6beta2 for wireless nic on my old laptop.
The buildworld on a 400mhz machine is several hours.

so then pcbsd does not have a tool or method to upgrade to new additions but one has to use the normal FreeBsd way of upgrading the system

At the moment, that's true. I understand easier upgrading is on the "list" but it is not there yet.

The online update program should be available the next release :) I finished writing most of it today, just got to do some testing, etc. Of course if you want to do bleeding edge stuff, your best bet is to stick with make world :)
