bootloader

hi..

Is the bootloader in the latest release of pcbsd a bit more detailed than just hitting F1,F2...does it look nice ( instead of flat black screen) and possiblyallow you to cursor down/up to your choice ?

I realize the OS itself and the apps and desktop ARE the key ingredient of focus but I'd hoped the developers had seen fit to make bootloader better because it surely does present the first opinion of pcbsd ;-))

Although this is not the answer you are looking for, A pretty graphical screen would be nice but, until one is provided... consider making and installing a bootloader from a GAG boot cd. This is about as easy as it gets as a do-it-yourself bootloader.

hmm I had never heard of such a thing.. I will certainly look into this and am appreciative of your assistance.
