nvidia-driver and installation-folder

kriss thank you for the nvidia-driver.pbi.

the installation is very easy, but i think etc/locale/MyPrograms ist the wrong place for driver installation. i mean a driver is not a program.

by the wy i think the folder MyPrograms should have a other name. FreeBSD nad PC-BSD are multiuser-systems, but who owns MyPrograms? I think only Programs is a better name.

I'd rather keep it in my Programs if only for cohesiveness. Putting things in differnet places around the system is how you can start forgetting folders and other stuff. Better to have one single place to install all PBI related stuff, that way, one can look there if there are questions about installed programs/drivers.

One way to accomodate your request is to maybe have a "software" and "drivers" sub-folders under MyPrograms. But...at least they'd be in the same general area.

I value the PBI system for its ability to prevent messing around with the root system...and advocating for placing new software in differnet places around the computer is the type of stuff that leads to disorganized file management.
