Hello,
I have a Toshiba laptopo with a Realtek ALC861 sound card. Currently it is not being "registered" in dmesg and I get the usual /dev/dsp error when KDE starts.
Can anyone verify whether this card i supported in FreeBSD?
Thanks

If its a satellite A100/A105 family I doubt it.

Here's what the FreeBSD lists show (http://freebsd.rambler.ru/srch?words=Realtek+ALC861&sort=6) Opensound.com doesn't support it so it may be a 'future' thing.

You'll need to see Ariff page to make it work ;)
